Hey guys,

I wanted to clarify how Flexible Entry worked, specifically for BSc (Advanced).
Say, a student received 93 ATAR (no bonus) and had MX1 and B6 in 2U plus B5 in physics and chemistry, making their total ATAR as 96.
The cut-off for the year was 95 ATAR - would they make it in?

I have seen other places like this:
All students with over 95 ATAR would get in with some slots reserved for Flexible Entry. The top of the flexible entry students will fill up the "slots" that are remaining to fill the cohort.

Which is true?

Any student with bonus marks that are above the cut-off will get in. The way it works at USyd and any other university in the state is that bonus points are added on top of an ATAR and when the university considers applicants they only consider the final ATAR after bonus points are added.

But it all depends on whether the cut-off changes. All you need to know is that all applicants are considered equally.
