I think this is a great resources to refresh your mind on any topics and learn topics that are not actually taught in the syllabus.

This textbook (which I emphasise is not mine) contains:
  • Matrices
  • Discrete Probability
  • Modular Arithmetic
  • Some Calculus
  • Complex Numbers
  • Primes
  • Mathematics Proofs
...and many more.

This would assist those going into Mathematics, Engineering, Sciences, Economics and perhaps even Computing courses.

Have fun.

You're pretty cool :]

Edit: Wow I just opened this, it's fucking amazing.

Now to try and print all 250 pages without mum noticing.

It's beyond that... the textbook is epic. I will be using this before I go to university (actually probably this year in some of my spare time) to learn some of the concepts for Engineering - they use matrices.

I see there are a fair amount of people viewing the link. I will put it into the resources section of the homepage for all to bask in. :D

Yeah, I had a quick skim over the pdf. Pretty much all the stuff in it (except for p.144-150 and a few other things before that) is covered in 1st year uni maths courses. A good way to get a head start (if you can be bothered) if you are entering the fields listed above except probably economics.

Nice to hear someone at Uni actually thinking it's a great resource :)... I know I'll be learning the topics covered more in depth this year.

Hmm... I can't see the download link or any links at all. Is it because I'm a relatively new member?
