We're having ours after the HSC.

Pretty stupid to have it prior to the HSC if you ask me.

Our formal is after the HSC but we are the only school in town doing that way as far as I'm aware. 4 other schools have theirs in September and one had theirs in March lol.

I think our way of having it after exams is better.

well i'm going to another formal with a friend and i really want to wear something that's not exactly traditional.
this is what i want to wear:

and if i'm feeling adventurous i'll add some greyish socks that come just over the knee. but i doubt it i wouldn't have the balls to go that far.

for my own formal.. i'll prolly just get a lisa ho or nicola finetti frock or something. or i'll look for vintage. still not really sure.

Grey pinstripe pants, Pink Shirt, White Shoes and to top it all of a CK belt

Hair, Straighten the back comes to my shoulders and spike the top, il streak it copper or blonde

With my sxc Armani Perume

This may sound like a stupid question but are you guys having you formal before or after your HSC exams?

I heard that some schools are having their formals before the HSC exam.

Yeah ours is before.

Mainly because everyone finished their exams at different times, and then people leave town and go on holidays and stuf and it's too difficult to try and get everyone together again.

I think that's their reasoning.
