Formals Are Starting... (1 Viewer)

It seems that half of our year has decided to go cocktail and the other half has gone formal.

Surprisingly I didn't see anyone in our year with a proper, long formal dress on. We all went cocktail, which was pretty much a first I think.

Food was horrible. Apart from that, it was awesome!

The food was cheap ass crap that you can get at any takaway shop.
The DJ had about 5 track playing for 4 hours
The Dance Floor was miniscule

But everyone was friendly and nice so it was pretty good at the end.

IT WAS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!

We had our formal on Wednesday, at the Star Room. Same place as NSG had theirs', but a day later. It was really, really good.

Though the food was not great. >_<;; I can't believe that we had been anticipating the night for so long, only for it to be flushed away in but a flash. :'(

Hey how random is the shape of the star room? The place sucks, what are you talking about? Seriously...I mean the dance floor was about the size of my living room. Pretty crap.

The after party was awesome though Our formal ended at about midnight.

Oh, I meant that the formal itself was great. The venue was meh, apart from the fact that it had preeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeety views. =)

LOL, a group of us went by bus and it felt as if we were going on an excursion all spruced up. Hahaha. I had really big expectations... I thought that the place would have been BIG BIG BIG. And when we went in were were like... "where did the other half of the room disappear?" XD. It was like... half an oval and the dancefloor was 1cm wide. HAHAHA. But it was so awesome.

Had mine last night, absolutely awesome.
Everyone looked great, everyone got along, and -- I actually danced!

Our dance floor was small too. AND the view was crap.
hmmph. even sefton had their formal at the star room. wonder why we couldn't get it.

And it's called advanced organisation My friend started organising it way back earlier in the year, and we could only get a Wednesday. o_o
