i don't think there is one set way to format the stage script...mine looks like this:

______________________________________________________________

ACT 1
SCENE 2

(Projected onto the sheet; Fade in, “In 1994, rival gangs MS and 18 were at war for the control of San Salvador.[1]Fade out. Fade in, “These gangs are now blamed for one of the highest murder rates in the world and their war continues.[1]Fade out. Enter MARIA, SOCCHI and a small crowd. It is TRAVIESO’s father’s funeral. TRAVIESO stands at the head of the three crates that now form a coffin. A dirty, white sheet is draped over the three crates. Lights up.)

TRAVIESO: Eighteen!

(TRAVIESO makes the gang’s hand signal in the air. He is nervous in front of the gang. The gang responds with the same hand signal and reply.)

ALL: Ole!

______________________________________________________________

so i have italics for stage directions, capitals for character names and normal dialogue is normal...does that help?

Actually, there are many ways to format a script.

What type of script in particular? Radio, Film, Drama, Speech?

Each type has a corresponding style.

Tell me which type and I'll help you!

I'm also doing a film script for my EXT 2 :)

Don't worry, I sorted it out. Thanks for the offer.

For the record I'm doing a drama script.

I did a film script, but apparently there are many differing styles of film scripts, many of which don't include shot types etc, so they just end up looking like drama scripts anyway!

LOL
