Has anyone made up their own Formulae sheet?
We get one in the exam but there are things you are expected to know.
I started my own but I know that I have forgotten to add most of them.

For example having things like.

Simpson's Rule.
Mode
Mean
Median
Range
Pythagoras' Theory

remember you also need to know that stuff from normal distribution

i think its 68% of scores within 1 SD of the mean

95% within 2 SD of the mean

and 99.7% within 3 SD of the mean

edit: also gradient (pretty basic)

and dividend yield = annual dividend share/market price per share x 100%

they sometimes tell u this in the question, they sometimes don't:
1degree = 4min
15degrees= 1 hour
1degree= 60 nautical miles
1 nautical mile =1 knot
and make sure u remember what the quadratic,exponantial,cubic and the hyperbola equations look like

Tommy's Formula Sheet (and other stuff): General Maths

1. GST: If 10% - divide by 1.1

2. Log: for exponentials/Depreciation etc.

3. Highest pt. parabola x = -b/2a (Axis of Symmetry)

4. Gradient : y2-y1/x2-x1

5. Point-gradient: y-yi = x(x-xi)

6. Normal Distribution: 1 SD: 68%/ 2 SD: 95% / 3 SD: 99.7%

7. Currency Conversion: a) Foreign Currency into AUD: divide
b) Aus into Foreign: multiply

8. SD: Use population if not specified

9. Dividend Yield: Dividend/Market Value x 100/1

10. General term formula: Tn = a +(n-1) d

11. Measurements: 1m^3 = 1,000 000cm^3
1L = 1000ml = 1000cm^3
1KL = 1000L
1Ha = 10,000m^2
1cm^3 = 1ml

11. Capture and Recapture: Si x S2/Tagged

they are 2unit formulas thats why: they make things simpler in general

the highest point parabola is the axis of symmetry of the parabola which is subsituted into the equation they give u. the point gradient helps u find the equation of a line

i was getting 20% - 30% in 2unit, getting 80% - 100% in general :D
same here! from being last in the year on most the exams in advanced, i became top of the class in general and am now 16th out of about 68 people. very jolly!
of course my advanced teach expected everyone to get things first go. general teach was excellent, he even holds study partys b4 exams and he supplies the pizza!
