Can someone give me a run down of all the lingo on this forum?

From "flaming" to "spamming", sometimes it feels like another language

They're quite common terms used in forums and chatrooms....

Flaming: another word for abuse/insult

Spam: posting threads that are irrelevant in the forum it was posted it, or posting alot in a short amount of time can be spamming too.

forum lingo is so limited though. the only word i can think is bump
where you add a useless/random word to move your thread further up the forum section
