If we have a morning free period we still have to come to school normal time for roll call :( but if we have an afternoon free period we can leave early
If you have a free period during the middle of the day, are you guys allowed to leave school? At some places, you can. We usually spend our free periods playing basketball or football or in the library.

Oh no no, I was meaning like a last period free you can leave, and first period free you have to come normal time for roll call

But during the day, we are suppose to be in the library, but some people just don't go to library

My school is right in the middle of town. So.. there's lots of things you can do in an hour free.

I have no free periods because I do 12 units. There's only Tuesday where we get to leave school early in a period where we would normally have sport in previous years.

We aint allowed to leave school grounds either.
We could sneak out.
There's KFC just a few doors down.
Hurstville is a 10 minute walk away or a few minutes by bus.
75 minutes free?? There's plenty of stuff to do.

My school only supports 12 units. One period is 80 minutes. We have half periods on Mondays and Tuesdays. So I have 2 periods where I can leave school early which are on Tuesdays. Here's how my school's timetable is set out:
Monday:
Period 1 - 8:45 - 10:10
Recess - 10:10 - 10:30
Period 2 - 10:30 - 11:50
Period 3 - 11:50 - 12:30 <== 40 minute period
Lunch - 12:30 - 1:10
Period 4 - 1:10 - 2:30

Tuesday:
Period 1 - 8:45 - 10:10
Recess - 10:10 - 10:30
Period 2 - 10:30 - 11:10 <=== 40 minute period
Period 3 - 11:10 - 12:30
Lunch - 12:30 - 1:10
Period 4 - 1:10 - 2:30 <==== This is either sport or we sign out

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday:
Period 1 - 8:45 - 10:10
Recess - 10:10 - 10:30
Period 2 - 10:30 - 11:50
Period 3 - 11:50 - 1:10
Lunch - 1:10 - 1:50
Period 4 - 1:50 - 3:10

Each unit is 3 periods per fortnight. Therefore it can only support 12 units plus 2 extra periods per fortnight. If a senior study period is between recess and lunch, then we have to stay in the library. There are people in my school who have a double study period in that time! lol! If a senior study period is in period 1, then we can stay home and come to school 10 minutes prior our next lesson. If a senior study period is in period 4 (which it is usually not), then we can leave school early. This also applies if we have no available teacher for a class.
