is it ok that my two related texts are about media and not just random ones about truth?
they're different text types, a song and an article but yeah i 'm just stressin

There is no problem with that, although of course they must be related to the truth, but I'm assuming yours are

but what if your two texts are of the same media type, i mean both of mine are tv media...one is from the simpsons, and the other is a film, so wud they mark me down?

I don't think they would, because a film is different to simpsons.

For eg. I study frontline which is media and Clueless is a film, so I doubt it.
