can ur other texts be bout media in other countries, or does it have to be bout australin media

if you can't think of any others in Australia, you can use supplementary material from other countries. I'm sure a lot of people are using American movies or whatever as well as Australian texts

yayayayayayaya..... i'm pretty sure supplementary materials from other countries is ok because pretty much everyone in my year are using materials from other countries.

I'm using the Truman show and an article called 'Cash for Comment' about the John Laws/Alan Jones scandel a few years ago and the teachers were totally fine with these sources (i go to a very stringent snobby catholic school and the teachers have fully sussed out what's acceptable and what's not - been to conferences etc)
