i am totally sick to death of frontline. its crappy clothes and sense of humour do not appeal to me. i like the media tho. it has taught me to be more careful in what i believe when i see it on the news.

Frontline has its pros and cons. i think it's an ok text to use but it gets a little annoying after watching the videos again and again- (especially if your teacher doesn't know what she's on about). i definately agree that there are some seious fashion violations too- but meh..it was the 90s, everyone did it.
I really like it...the subtle humour...the fabulous clothes....and that bit in the intro "I'm Mike Moore, Welcome to Frontline". Heh. Gets me every time...
Then again, I think that if my teacher was actually giving us some sort of direction with it (what we're sposed to be looking for, relevant quotes, etc.) then i mite be a little more skeptical of the whole thing.
