I've applied for early despite failing one of my subjects in year 11 (dropped it as soon as I could) Will this significantly affect my chances of getting early entry?

depends where (western sydney jus be accepting everyone from what ive heard), if u dropped it then u should be fine as long as it isnt relevant to whatever course u chose and ur other subjects r good
