do you reckon they'd need summer casuals to be always available?

for the xmas/holiday period, yes. so like, early dec - late jan essentially. and then they fire you. hah.

If you’re successful in securing a role in our stores, you’ll need to fulfil the following responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with our customers
• Be honest, trustworthy, fair and legal in everything you do
• Process sales using our Point of Sale system, keyboard and scanner
• Handle cash and provide the correct change
• Move around for extended periods of time on hard floors
• Lift and move cartons of stock and use a stock trolley to move deliveries
• Use ladders to access stock in the ‘back room’ and on the shop floor
• Clean and tidy the shop floor, including vacuuming, mopping and dusting
• Be available to work weekends and evening shifts as required
• Be available to work from 10 December to 10 January including evenings for late night trade, Christmas Eve Day, News Years Eve Day and Boxing Day.
