For the actual HSC score, how much is the Area of Study and the Modules worth? I've heard two versions. One of them is that the Area of Study counts for 50% of the HSC score, while the Modules count for the other 50%. But I've also heard that the Area of Study counts for 25% and the Modules count for 75% of the HSC score. Which one's right?

so each module is worth 20. what about each section of the Area of Study, like the comprehension, story and essay?

Modules worth more, of course.

They're all equal. Each section is worth 15, whole paper out of 45. When marks are adjusted, each section would be out of 13.3, with the paper out of 40.
