easy. raw mark 95+. communication was just lols, so easy haha.

you do need to mention depolarisation and preferably the values involved with resting potential and the potential "threshold". and the all or none response.

7 marker was so easy. they do the same question every year. and accomodation.

for q 9 the ans is B

when oxygen is released by haemoglobin the carbondioxide is attracted to form carbaminohaemoglobin.

q9 is C lol. 90% of CO2 travels in the blood plasma. There is no real attraction between haemoglobin and carbon dioxie.

carbon diovide-> blood plasma

how can carbondioxide bind to haemoglobin?? I"VE NEVER SEEN SUCH THING ON ANY TEXT BOOK

70% OF CO2Travels in Plasma as carbonic acid, becomes hydrogen carbonate ions.
However 23% OF CO2 travels are carbaminohaemoglobin
i put B =( just realized it says strongly bind to haemoglobin argh!

Which is the morning and evening. And then closed during the hottest part of the day so the water isnt evaporated out?
And for 9) isnt 70% of CO2 as HCO3-, 23% as carboaminohaemoglobin and 7% dissolved in plasma.
Last time i checked, 23% was bigger than 7%.
So wouldnt 9) b be right?

Question 1 is C (mutations lead to the generation of new alleles, crossing over in meiosis results in new allele COMBINATION, not 'new alleles'. They are different.

Question 11 is D.

Most carbon dioxide enters the red blood cells and is combined with water to form bicarbonate ions (HCO3-). Some is attached to haemoglobin molecules in red blood cells and a small percentage is transported in plasma as dissolved CO2.

i wrote 2 hetozygous parents can lead to a different phenotype
using a punnett square am i right?>

But when can they photosynthesise if the stomates are closed all day? They will die if they can't photosynthesise (Stomates are less than half open for the WHOLE day in D)
Question 11 is not referring to photosynthesis, it is referring to transpiration (or water loss) through the stomata.
