with the multiple choice question with pasteur's experiment, what did everybody put?


It was the one that related to why there was scum in the second one. I didn't know if the lines were a lid... so I said the beaker wasn't boiled. What did everybody else put?

Yeah it was a horrible diagram... but I assumed it was a lid since they said they were modelling his experiment and it had said nothing about boiling in the writing so I said they hadn't.

i done something like 1.threshhold 2. depolarisation 3. repolarisation obv in more detail not sure if that gets the marks

I did that too. but everybody was like "lol it was exposed to air" and i was like HOW DID YOU KNOW THAT THE DIAGRAM WAS SO SHIT AND AMBIGUOUS

That feel when you walk out of the exam and your answers don't include some of things everyone else included.
Made some sillies with mc estimating 16/20
Short answers didn't go quite well as I wanted to as I forgot to mention things in some of my answer.
Communication was fairly easier just happened to not talk about action potential in a ii) other than that hoping for 80 raw [emoji24]

osmosis involves water and some solutes so pretty much 2 concentrations of particles. diagram only shows 1 conc of particles going from high conc to lower conc... think of diffusion of gases in a room i guess
