I'm pretty sure 20 is A. Other than that I got same answers as Alekovic. How many pages did people write? I got 17 for the report and 11 for the essay. Better get a raw >95

For 2014,

total assets:10,000
total liabilities: 7,000

We know that assets=liabilities+equity

so equity = 3000

Using the formula, which they gave to us,

7000/3000 = 2.3

Therefore, the debt/equity ratio has 'worsened' because the firm has taken on more risk.

equity = assets - liabilities

= 7000 - 10000
= 3000

D:E is therefore 7000: 3000

2.33: 1 in 2014

2013 = 1.25:1

industry average = 100% (1:1)

therefore, the debt to equity ratio has worsened and is poorer than the industry average (as a higher gearing ratio indicates more debt used to finance the business)

thus, the answer is d

You're full of shit. Unless you write like 4 words a line there is no way you got 17 and 11.
And question 20 is D, it worsened

i thought it was c because

debenture = external long-term debt

a is to 'reduce financial risk' but by borrowing more, one would assume you're increasing your financial risk.

and then everything else seems... wrong... imo

therefore c

And how much did people write for the business report/case study
I got 5 pages for the business report and 3 for the case study but my writing is pretty small, compared to the rest of my year I was average. I heard some people write like 8 pages for each which I think is crazy since the case study I finished talking about promotional strategies by page 2 and was making stuff up for the next page, made up random stats like this company grew 23% over the past 2 years because of its advertising campaign
9-10 for s3, 11 pages for s4 lol, my writing is like normal but i like to space out my reports too

I thought it was a, because a debenture uses a fixed interest rate, which secures it from increasing interest rates in economy which reduces financial risk if interest rates are too high in the case of a recession.. but that's just me lol

Although the debenture one is still subject to debate
