i got this n³ + (n-1) ³ + (n-2) ³ ... 1³..
is it the same thing?
I got this as well but bit different in the end.

n³ + (n-1) ³ + (n-2) ³ ... (n-x)³ > 0

Yeah, the x there is like undefined and yeah, probably confuse the marker..
The answer is simply

1^3 + 2^3 ...n^3

I couldn't get Section A second last question for the equilateral triangle and square.

And the True and False question was...kinda hard for me. Well only the last one was cause I didn't know what translation was! Didn't even learn about that at school! Too much hard maths :L

I put 50

because she is 30.
In ten years time she will be 40 and 20 years younger than her whatever.

so the person she is comparing herself to is 60 when she is 40
so now they are 50

wat did every get for that tile one the last one how does it equal 1980 and something about 10 percent extra for breakage my equation was...

178.2 x 0.09 = 1980 ....i was so glad that i got it rite 2 marks in the bag

the area of the rectangle is 162 +10%[16.2]=178.2 and the tile is 0.09^2

so ye i just did 178.2 x 0.08 = 1980 soo happpy

yeah i had to miss out the second last question from section 1 coz i didn;t have enough time , but what really killed me was that i had like 20 minutes left for section 2 but i couldn't go back to section 1 to finish coz we weren't allowed

area of tile = 0.09. area of rectangle = 162.

162 / 0.09 = 1800

then take 10% and add

1980

i finished non-calc with around 5-10 minutes left. idk why people found it so hard (except for 24, that was pretty challenging lol)

really, this question said that the person bought 10% more tiles then needed.
so i got that he needed 1800 and got 10% extra so thats 1980

For that last question i dont think you were allowed to put in elipses, that would be too easy. I think they were looking for an actual formula. I might have got it if i had another few minutes to work some stuff out.
