Re: General Thoughts: Studies of Religion I

Far i put Social justice for the first one, cause I remember reading it in some notes, But I think that was more of an effect on ecumenism not what it actually does. I would say unity is right, but then again I was looking at mutual understanding and saying that could be right too, so I just left it with social, hey it's 25% it could be right. What I wana know is why the fuc^ does BOS put a mindFu*K question as the first question? My teacher said they make there way progressively harder. Qs 10 was B right? denomination 2.

Changed my answer to C at the last second, I hope it is right, because I changed the question about the Pentecostal age groups to the wrong answer. Will make up for that one then.

Re: General Thoughts: Studies of Religion I

^^
hahaha yeppp exactly the same, im not sure if it was C or D... i put D because i saw a film where there was a ceremony for totem groups...
But i guess it would be different (or the same) for different tribes... so you cant really judge what is right and wrong...
anyways, my comments - very ambiguous multiple choice, some were easy others were difficult;
Section II was preety poor choice by BOS exam setters, was too standardised and anyone that didnt really study could of answered the questions with decent knowledge:
Section III i did buddhism... and it was alright, but i didnt really know about how to tie in the unity of buddhism...

Yeah, I just sat there for 5 minutes thinking, how on earth would I be able to tie the quote in with the question and with what I knew.

If the compassion and justice are expressed throughout several facets of Buddhism then it is unified in the religion.

Re: General Thoughts: Studies of Religion I

i wrote about judaism and said that it clearly focuses on compassion even though others may focus on justice. The statement clearly gave you a choice between justic or compassion
You didn't HAVE to choose just one. It said discuss so you could've just explained both as issues points for/against each one........... and stuff
