Anyone who took blethics before? doing blethics during summer and the lectures notes are really shitty.The subject coordinator now is Jim Cooper.
You now need 40% in the final exam to pass the subject and the roleplay and attendance marks are gone and replaced with a 20 mark journal of 3000 words about five articles

Got back from 4 days of Melbourne on Monday and looking to go to Malaysia for 3 weeks next Saturday. I say 'looking' cause I've yet to book tickets (I know, I'm pusing it close but circumstances changed and made me have to go earlier) but I only just put in my passport and applied for a Visa debit card which has yet to arrive.

Other than that, nothing

When does work start for you? Looks like your trying to get in some travelling before it starts..

Hmm.. what happened to David Meltz... maybe this guy is just taking summer..
Attendance and roleplay marks were stupid anyways (i think attendance was 7 marks and role play was 8 marks?).

It is. Apparently my passport application is done (according to the website), so hopefully it'll arrive at my post office tomorrow and I can pick it up! But I've been checking ticket availability like 3 times a day and it's still very abundant so should be fine..it's just obviously a teeny bit on the expensive side.

I start on the 2nd of February but have a welcome event this Friday in which I'll be lugging my luggage to

No, it doesn't. Well it kinda will since I think the holidays are moving fast

Postponing my trip for a few days. Now leaving on Tuesday instead of Saturday My passport has arrived though..still waiting for one last thing before I can book. Hopefully that comes tomorrow!

the email way or the study plan way (which doesnt really give marks)...its explained in the sticky on estimating marks

Althought we can not know the mark, we can know what grade (e.g. HD, D) we get based on the GPA.

however, i would like to know if a 3 credit point subject is counted in your GPA....and is its value just 1 point? because its just a pass fail subject,

PASS/FAIL subject doesn't count into GPA

How come the email method of finding results doesn't work for first years? I'm just wondering coz i got something sent to me...and i think it worked =/ nvrm i didnt realize it said FIRST SEM first year.

Also i partial failed one subject -.-' DAMN YOU PHYSICS...soooo that wouldn't count into my credit points right now eh?

coz it says 42 gained...and it should be 48...so is it my physics fail one that's missing?

You check the credit points gained at the bottom n calculate from that...are you talking about the email results?
