Geography qustion: WHat is the aspect of the slope? (1 Viewer)

I.e. WHat is the aspect of a slope from point X.
How do i find that? is it the top of the hill i have to measure to??

Im not 100% if this is correct but its the direction where you are able to view when in that position.

As the above post said, it's the geographical direction on which an object is located/facing. If a house is on the east side of a hill it would be considered to have an easterly aspect.

I think of it this way:
You are on a hill, running downwards. The direction you are running to is the aspect of that hill.

yeap thats what i think as well. If they however put it on top of the hill then you will have to examine which side of the slope they give u.
