Getting in a year later? (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone,
In NSW we apply for a university course through UAC at the end of year 12, but what if we don't get accepted into the courses of our preference? How do we try again next year. I know we get to keep our uai but do we apply through uac again and if so how?

PS: I realise that if you don't get in one year your chances arn't great for the next but this is purely theoretical, i.e. if I don't do well in umat and want to sit it again next year, how do I reapply to the universities for medicine without being a yr 12 'school leaver'

You can apply online as a non school-leaver. Works basically the same as the Y12 application.

If you do it that way can you still get into the commonwealth supported places?
