I think its time we started to colonize mars. Or created a more efficient way of getting there. 6 Months is way to long for a population. Unless hundreds if not thousands of people were sent there.

We don't have the technology yet to send ONE person to Mars, let alone a viable colony. But yes, we need to get off this rock - perhaps to somewhere like Europa, which is more likely to be able to sustain life c.f. Mars.
