ESSAY QUESTION

Discoveries can be confrontational and challenging. Such situations may cause individuals to respond differently; some with intense reflection, some with denial. How has this been seen in both your prescribed text and one related text of your own choosing?

Ok, so I chose the fault in our stars, I know links between the discoveries in both reactions. However I can't seem to put my ideas together or construct a damn sentence.

Tips and links would be greatly appreciated

It's always good to plan your essay before you write it. That is, have some idea on what your body paragraphs are going to be about, your topic sentences, and what quotes/techniques you're using to support each body paragraph. You will often have trouble writing out an essay just from the top of your head if you haven't planned it a little. This doesn't mean you need everything down perfect, but just something to go by so you can improve it as you go on. For example, you could do three body paragraphs based on discoveries relating to self, others and the world.

Thanks a lot! It may seem remedial for you but it makes a BIG difference to me, as I've had significant gaps in my education :)
