it actually isn't all blood

it's mostly made up of the insides of the uterus which form throughout the time when you AREN'T getting your period. it comes out because no egg has been fertilised because it doesn't need to act as a sort of cushion-y thing for the baby that would otherwise form.

i get REALLY bad pain sometimes, but it's usually only on the first day.
so i'm feeling normal for the rest of the time

but some people get no pain, so i guess those are the girls who have sex during their period?

Don't you just stick up tampons in according to the calender, and then change it every 6 hrs, and then change it to the pads at night? I though your not meant to feel it..... :S
