Finished everything on Friday. Such a relief to get it over and done with....All the interview/information evenings (free beer!) ruined the holidays!!

I've got an offer from Deloitte and am supposed to be expecting one from PKF, but they haven't contacted me yet.

Don't they need to give out offers by 3rd of May, as per the ICAA?

I don't think there's a due date for when they can give out offers. All I know is that May 16th is the dealine to accept offers.

I didn't know ICAA issued deadlines for 'acceptance'- I thought they gave time periods. With cadetships it was a 3 week period to decide from memory.

... and Congratulations redruM on getting Deloitte. Which division will you be in?

(btw to other people, please post your divisions- I'm most curious to see who I might end up working with one day...)

The ICAA has deadlines for winter/summer vacations, cadetships and graduate positions.

Thanks seremify, I'll be working in A&A.

Omg, the view on Level 48 of the EY Building is like to die for :p. I can see the top of UTS from there!

Yeh...I had my EY assessment centre today. Was a lot better than I expected and I thought it would be long, since it went from 9:30am-4:30pm =.= but it went by pretty quick!

Anyways...I got an offer 3 hours later :D

Congrats :) There seem to be a lot of BoSers in Big4 nowadays! Maybe we should all have a meetup.

Btw when's your start date/what's your division?

Thanks! :D

I applied for the TSRS division which is in RTS which is part of AABS, lol. As for start date, I guess they are assuming a 2007 start at the moment but I need to see if they would give me a mid-2006 date which I forgot to ask today :p

Congrats jasee! It is a sensational feeling isn't it. :)

I just got back from uni, could you (or someone) let me know what the abbreviations stand for in the previous post. My head hurts. :p

edit: redcone, Audit. Are you applying there too?

Thanks, lol, yeh it's a really good feeling, lol.

TSRS = Technology and Security Risk Services, RTS = Risk and Technology Services and AABS = Assurance and Advisory Business Services

Err I hope those are right, haha.
