Hey guys, ive just started Module B: Critical Study of Texts for Advanced English, and i was wondering if anyone out there could give me any type/form of advice/hints for this topic. And im also really confused (and scared) developing my own reading, so i was wondering (especially past hsc students) how to go about this, and anything i can do to help me deveop my reading.

If my memory serves me correctly, this module required you to analyze the text by examining it through different readings, eg feminist, marxist etc. You also need to look at how your text has been received in different contexts and importantly in different audiences.

My advice, know your readings. Know them well. Collect different interpretations from well known scholars on your text and familiarize yourself with the text.
