So I decided it would be a good idea to start straightening my hair...only problem now is that it seems to be really light and puff out everywhere...how can I fix this?

Also when I had my hair striaghtened at the hair dresser they put this stuff in it to keep it all nicely in place...I have no idea what it was bur it wasnt gel or anything...it seemed to smell of antique furniture :p

probably a hair wax or mud.
Ive got this stuff called Brazen Medium Hold Hair Goop, its not gel, its just a styler.

It works :)

get either the fructus smoothing milk or the pantene frizz defense creame. both work, i far prefer the fructus, but it's significantly more expensive. they will help with the light/puffy feel of your hair, making sure it stays together.

My hairdresser uses D-Frizz on my hair, it comes in a real itty bitty bottle and you use a tiny bit of it on your whole head. Costs like $27 but it works well. And that itty bitty bottle lasts ages.

I use Fructis Smoothing Milk when i straighten my hair and its always nice and sleek.

I used to use Tool Straightening Fluid. That was good too, but twice the amount.

I use REDKEN 5th avenue NYC spray starch "heat memory styler spray thermo-durable medium control" mmm it works very well, cost 20$ and protects your hair from damage from hair straighteners up to 200 degrees celcius.
