hi..i dont want to type this qn..too long, but if someone has cambridge 3u on them can you help / give hints / post soln for ex 10A 26d..i can get a,b,c and im getting pretty close for d ie within 0.2 but i just cant seem to get it right.. :(

also can anyone post some hard circle geo qns (from trials etc)....there isnt many in cambridge :) thanks!

Try this:

ABC is a triangle,
D,E and F are points on BC,CA and AB such that AD is perpendicular to BC, BE is perpendicular to CA and CF is perpendicular to AB.

From D, perpendicular lines are dropped onto AB,BE,CF and AC,
intersecting them at P,Q,R and S respectively.

prove that PQRS are colinear.

(hint: this is related to the last circle geometry question in cambridge)

more harder circle geo?

buy/borrow/steal the 4U book and do the harder 3U question..
find a ruse trial/grammer trial and find Q6-8 :)
go thru pass HSC papers..4U

generally do harder 3U topics.. from 4U books

if u finish those.. then ure good ^^

not quite what I was thinking of, probably a typo somewhere?
consider triangle ACE, show that D lies on it's circumcircle
hence deduce PRS are colinear
then show PQR are colinear

and the theorem I was refering to was the last one in the cambridge specimen papers.
If I remembered correctly, it's a question 8
