Don´t know why I´m not sleeping but was looking on wikipedia and am now wondering why the us editions of harry potter have more pages than the uk/rest of the world editions... any ideas?

They have more than 100 more pages!The books began as relatively slim volumes (223 pages Philosopher's Stone UK ed. 309 pages "Sorcerer's Stone" US ed.), but have grown as the series progressed (766 pages Order of the Phoenix UK ed. 870 pages "Order of the Phoenix" US ed).
