HECS Payment Options Declaration Form. (1 Viewer)

This form says that I have to read the HECS Information booklet and my question to anyone who has read it is, is it really necessary? Also, it says that I have to provide them with my Tax File Number before the census date. Does anyone know when this is exactly? Thanks.

I basically just flipped through the book, i think its just covering their arse so you cant come back and say 'oh well i didnt know that'
and the census date is wed 31 march (sem 1) and tues 31 aug (sem 2)

Keep the book on hand, so if you have problems you'll know where to look. It has the census date IN it, so you really should read the booklet. There's only like ten pages that apply to you anyway.

OK, thanks for that. I will go and get it then. It is just that I have to go all the way to the University, I know I am lazy.

What form is this? Do have to fill it? lol im lost!!

you have to fill it in if you gained a place in uni as a HECS student (ie, a non full fee paying person)

I'm a UNSW student and i didn't receive a HECS form. Hmm.. i THINK we fill that out when we enrol online.

i enrolled online too and there was nothing about it. how could you do it online coz they need a signature and stuff, even with your uni username and password its not secure enough me thinks

probably when u officially enrol (after 2nd feb) they will mail it out to you to bring back or sometihng..

UNSW here, I got mailed with this booklet (not very professional, just a staple in the top left corner) that had instructions and black and white pictures of how to go through the entire enrollment process online. Anyway on the 5th page it has a picture of the HECS Payment Options Declaration Form - Part B and there you can choose either Upfront or Defer and there's another option under Defer to select whether you want to make a partial upfront payment.
I'm not sure what happened to Part A though...

RCMasterAA, they probably do not have Part A of the form because your University should already have most of those details.

yeah, it'll b a good idea to read the hecs booklet- i did, and for everything else on the form i just ticked "yes" without even reading what it was saying.
