I have an essay question:
"The power of distinctive voices lies in their communication of strong viewpoints"
explain how the texts you have studies achieve this.

is it saying that if you have a strong opinion/topic it is more "memorable"?.

I think its telling you that voices are powerful because of how they've communicated their viewpoints. I'm pretty sure your on the right track too. As well as that the individual of whom the voice belongs to must have used techniques to communicate their idea. And these techniques have assisted the reception of the viewpoint, making it stronger and more acceptable.
I could probably be rambling on about shit, but hope it sort of helped.
