Hi,

Question : Need help with something, for those of you who are planning on doing 4unit maths what are you doing in order to get prepared and achieve high marks, next year.

Also for those of you who have done 4unit maths what do you recommend on doing in year 11 to get really high marks in year 12 assessments + HSC

Stop thinking about 4Unit and just concentrate on getting your basics on 3U right.

^Yeah.

You can't achieve good results in 4U if you haven't built a good foundation in 3U.

hey ima maths accelerant so ifinsh my maths this yr and ext 1 is eay in yr 11 so try and go as well as possible in it ....yr it picks up some more stuff so try harder then but for right now dw bout it relax...half my classs is doing 4 unit in their hsc this yr...they say its all about u...and u have to put in the effort..saying that is doesnt mean u cant do it ..the ones eho are doing it are snapping the yr 12 classes in 3 unit with their ranks outta 90 being at least in the top .. they tend to hit a mimimum of 90 in the exams... so concentrate and do ur best building up hte basics

Yeah, basically as others have said, right now concentrate on learning and knowing well the content and concepts of 2u and ext 1. Write notes on each topic. Get into some slightly higher order thinking (maybe find harder 2u and ext 1 questions to do). Find a regular study pattern. As this will help form a solid foundation for maths which you will build upon when undertaking the ext 2 course.;):)
