Help is needed with communication project (1 Viewer)

Hi people weve been given an assigment that im having trouble with and i jus wanted to ask if anybody here can help me or give me some advice.

you have been asked to set up a home network system at your own house that has 5 rooms which are to be networked. Prepare a network project plan and system design detailing:

1. Network requirements for the whole 5 rooms
2. Cabling and equipment performance and installations standards
3. Proposed locations of the network infrastructure hardware ( hubs, switches and routers).
4. Terminal outlet locations for workstation.
5. Additional general power outlets required.
6. User services (software, internal e-mail, internet access, etc)
7. Network operating system.


It would be greatly appreciated if there is any advice with this assigment

i swear to god if you dont talk about topologies i might have to hunt you down and smack you...
the type of transmission medium and why blah blah blah
just use your common sense, if you have networked computers at home have a look at how they're set up and connected, the type of transmission medium used, the topology and configuration and what services you have access too on each computer

crappest help ever i know but hey, common sense got me a long way this year
