I'm currently doing these subjects:
  • Chemistry
  • Business Studies
  • IPT
  • Design and Technology
  • Maths 2 Unit
  • Maths Extension 1
  • ESL

I'm considering to drop chemistry as I'm standing really low in the class rank and I'm going to do Maths Extension 2 next year and dropping Business Studies if possible.
Is it a great idea to drop business studies? Business studies is really useful to me but I'm an oversea student and I find it hard to write an essay and sick of writing bunch of business reports as English is not my first language . Any advices ?
Thanks

I would recommend dropping the subjects you have stated. But what is your rank for chem, and what is your school rank?

If you're going to pick up 4U, keep 12 units for the first term atleast. Schools generally do Complex Numbers first, which will give you a good indication of your ability to do 4U. If you don't find it too hard, then by all means drop both Business and Chemistry. It's so much easier doing 10 units when you do 4U.

you could drop chemistry and business and pick up senior science & 4unit so you have 12 units and then drop if you find doing 12 units hard because its easier to drop subjects rather than picking up subjects and then catching up on subjects
