Gooooooooood evening all :)
Okay so basically, I was extremely excited to see that I was offered a place at ANU to study B Arts/B Laws in 2010.
30 seconds later I'm wondering what the deal is for tuition fees are. The first conundrum was that I'm doing a combined degree - what does this mean in terms of student contributions? (Effectively paying twice?) Also, to add to the conundrum is that I'm a permanent resident of Australia, thus not eligible for HECS (though I am a CSP)

As an indication, I'm gathering that International students would pay more than domestic, thus my fees would be less than $23000...(http://www.anu.edu.au/sas/fees/Fee Schedules/ISF.pdf - combined courses on p3..)

Any help would be appreciated what I'm supposed to be paying upfront!
Thank you so much in advance... help!

Student contributions are worked out on a per-subject basis. The yearly contribution figures you see are just the subject figures * 8, so take the numbers for Arts and Law, divide them both by 8, and then multiply them by the number of subjects from each faculty you'll be taking.

So assuming it's 50% Arts and 50% Law in your first year, you'd pay $7084.50 or so.

(This is just my understanding, it could be wrong. And BTW you should become an Australian citizen ;) )

From another estimate though I've gotten around 14k. aaaaaaaaargh
