help with diffraction dotpoint!!!- Q2Q (1 Viewer)

yeah the following dot point i need help with, especially the second part:

"Define diffraction and identify that interference occurs between waves that have been diffracted."

Basically, diffraction is the spreading or bending of waves around obstacles, such as openings in slits. The phenomenon is the result of interference (i.e., when waves are superimposed, they may reinforce or cancel each other out). :)

the purplish hue notes has a very concise definition, but i think antisocial's covered it pretty much =)

thanx...so is that all u need to know for that dot point? :)

yep lol.. it's a 'define'... a toast to the gayness of the new hsc that immediately tells u if it's gonna be a high-order question or not >.<
but geez... what's the chance that there will be a question
