Help with graphing velocity vs time (1 Viewer)

Hi for this question, part b, i drew the graph like this:

However, the ans shows this

I don't understand how its in a parabolic shape...
we know that acceleration is a constant number, so when u integrate a constant number u get a function for straight line, so isn't this meant to be an straight line but with absolute value? (also it doesn't go through the x axis because they asked for speed, which doesn't have direction and so it stays above x- axis)


Any help would be appreciated!

@Vipul_K I believe integrating acceleration will give a straight line - however in this question its asking for speed, and it does not have a linear rate of change. As per the equation v^2 = u^2 + 2as, we can see that speed is quite parabolic (take the positive v value after rooting as it it magnitude only) - As such, I would believe the graph would have to be parabolic...
