You need to make a right angled triangle. This is quite trippy, but note that:

Equation should be:



Because it's twice a number squared. So you square the number, and then double it.

D: I don't understand the right angled triangle method, can you please explain it?

are you sure it's 2n^2? if it was twice the square of a number, or twice a squared number, i would agree, but twice a number squared sounds more like(2n)^2 to me :/

It's a bit ambiguous, but when I looked at the question, I read it as a number squared, which you then doubled.
