if you get like 84.70 as the total for a unit, then does it get rounded up to 85?

I've received assessments with .5 that was rounded up to the nearest point. They round up, I believe.

From my knowledge, you'll get a rounded-off mark for a unit.
For example, you can't get 84.6 for a unit. You'll get 85 (thus, a HD).

However, if your university uses WAM as opposed to GPA, your total average may be to the decimal. E.g. 74.6 WAM (credit) instead of 75 WAM (distinction).

Oh yeah what the hell. I just remember seeing a decimal point so I just assumed they went to 1 dp, but now I just went to check my marks and they all end with .0's. USYD pls.

So I guess yeah, it will get rounded up to 85 from an 84.70.

I've only received whole numbers for overall unit marks from Macquarie, so I assume they round up.
