Help with year 11 bio assignment (1 Viewer)

Hi

i am in need of help, i have this bio assignment that requires me to design and preform an experiment on plant transpiration. It says i should record how much water output from the leaves as an indication of transpiration. oh and i also have to block the stomates.

i have been thinking about how im going to do this, but i cant seem to find an answer on how i should block the stomates and how i am meant to record the transpiration.
Any help will be appreciated( i am able to scan the assignment sheets if anywant wants to look at them)

Wrap a plastic bag around one leaf (while still on the plant/tree) and tie the open end with a rubber band. (Make sure it's sealed tightly to avoid water loss.)

Leave it over night and in the morning water will collect in the bag.

Just measure it, do it another couple of times and use various plants.

Thanks heaps, i tink im just gonna sticky tape the top and bottom of the leaf to block stomates.

Back in the day, we used good ol' aluminium foil wrapped around the leaf to block the stomates.

Yeah, probably. I'm not sure how sticky sticky-tape is against leaves.
