Start of with recognising the areas of conflict. For example, in contracts, lack of regulation of sellers, misleading marketing and advertising and conflict in finance. Then go to outline the role of the law...make this very OBVIOUS. By doing this you are letting the marker know what criteria you are evaluating the effectiveness of the law with.

Then get on with your arguement and as you outline the topic outline why conflict arises in that field and what the law aims to do to resolve the conflict. (I.e. then you can talk about self help and mediation and all that...) Again, in each paragragh outline the role of the law and then evaluate whether or not it has been effective. Use case studies/media articles, etc to illustrate your points and then assess the effectiveness of the law in resolving conflict. In terms of cooperation make sure you talk about the law aims to restore the balance of power between the buyer and seller, etc.

Hope that helped :)
