what is textual integrity i know it refers to how r text stands on it s own but is that talking about the diiferent productions and how theystand on their own im confused.....:(

Textual integrity is the features, e.g. language and dramatic techniques, of the text which make it a unified whole.

For King Lear there have been so many differing productions and interpretations. We have to judge whether King Lear still possesses textual integrity, at the face of these various interpretations.
