I'm a hot chocolate-only girl too, but saying coffee somehow sounds more sophisticated! Have you ever had a hot ciok (sp?) from Toscani's at Hornsby?
Oooh! No, but it sounds good!

It is soooo good, its like liquid mousse. Its so thick and rich and so, so chocolaty! And they serve it in a cocktail glass so you feel all fancy. Such a great desert in itself. Yummmmm.....

p.s. dont pronounce it "hot cock" like I have

Ooooooohhhhh the drink sounds so yummy! Now, just to remember where Toscani's is... sounds like a good place to take the girlfriends for a girly dessert! (a bit like Max Brenner, but closer to home lol)

It's on that "walk" in Hornsby... like, across from the Commonweath bank, next door to that fantastic thai restaurant... its opposite the old pub...

Does that make any sense?

AH HA! Yup, I know it now. I call it "that restaurant place I never go to" as I've literally never really been there many times and am only vaguely aware of its existence... I know the rest of Hornsby westfields inside out though :S

But all the food places there look really, really high-quality judging from the decor and all that. Ah, the best part about the refurbishment is that now we have all these awesome food places within easy reach!

I swear this is the last thing I do tonight, so I can then go to bed and be hopefully awake for tomorrow's 9am soc lecture!

... I almost got run over in King's Cross because I was too asleep to notice the oncoming car on way back from arts210 lecture :S I don't think soc will be quite that bad, but now we're committed to trying to have our wits about us...

EDIT: YAY this place looks really nice! Definately taking the girlfriends there!

Hey don't drink then :D I wasn't going to drink either, I was just gunna go and check out the atmosphere, sit around ...absorb the atmosphere and talk to pple lol but my friend said i can crash at hers, so i plan on having a lil bit.

Oh btw jamie... im up for something during the day on the friday. I like the coffee and cake idea actually lol... As for movies... hrrmm what u watching.. theres like nothing out :s
Atmosphere?? Thursday at the Ranch is very ordinary. A few american exchange students (less and less as the semester progresses), local North Ryde/Marsfield bogans and teens too lazy to actually dress up properly and go to Greenwood. Plus I remember having many a Thursday work drinks over group karaoke...not pretty.

Thursdays 9-11pm are better spent at the Epping Hotel...at least they have free standup comedy with some decent comedians. And you can catch a late bus back to uni if you wanna crash at the dorms.

Hmm...I might have to check out Toscani's next time I'm up that way.

Max Brenner is worth the travel. Not that one has to travel far - they're everywhere these days!
