Recommended to go if you're in year 11(even year 10) some of the speakers share some good experiences and answer any questions you may have about their career path(usually working outside of public accounting, so you get knowledge of both worlds), in addition you have a chance to talk personally with chartered accountant firm recruiters about different paths and get a heads up on cadetships early. Plus there was some nice free food when I went,hopefully they still serve it.

I don't know if they offer free food to everyone... it was meant for the staff but if you were a student who stuck around long enough and dressed well (enough to pass as an accountant) then you might have scored some too!

Not sure how studying accounting has anything to do with being interested in doing business.

Unless you meant doing a Bachelor of Business.
