Oops. The long-ass, begrudged concession. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lm5hQDFfRvA
Pretty ordinary. She really did have terrible timing during her speeches. Sounds aggressive towards the audience, shouts them down, forces the applause instead of embracing the natural ones etc
She mentioned gay rights a few times, which was a bit eye-brow raising considering her campaign - a wink that the conservative/right-wing painting she presented to the voters wasnt hers?
Was a good point that for 40 years (since 68), the Democrats have only held the Presidency for 3 terms (/10) - two of which were Clinton's (during arguably the most overall comfortable time in the 40yrs).
No hints on what Obama's on about when he says that she'll be at the forefront of his campaign.

I assume theyll come round.
What are the stages of grief again?
denial,
anger,
bargaining,
depression, and
acceptance

*wiki
I've reached a grumbling acceptance
(or could that be denial...)

Obama will win. That's not my concern. My concern is whether or not he'll turn out to be a Rudd, or a Blair.

The leftist who comes in the nick of time, only to continue the status quo.

I left this open for a while so people could air their grief and maybe, just maybe, begin to heal. We must all come to terms with having to swallow an inadequate black man.
I think we can.

RIP Hillary.
