those concerts wouldve been wild. After seeing the dvd i reckon itd be better than anything the south could put together. That many top quality artists, that many classics.

J5 are awesome, but to be honest nowadays they are as popular in America as black eyed peas. Every1 knows them. even in australia alot of ppl know em.
I agree with though Dead prez, immortal technique, mos def, talib kweli, common, cannibus. Must get Blackstar's CD. One of the best ever. Also the Roots, how could i forget. hiphop i know u luv em, im a massive fan too, even though now they are startin to get a bit of recognition. I have mates who don't even like hip hop who like them. they are just so dam fuckin good.
A few others that are pretty good are blackalicious, cunninglynguists and Tech N9ne. Blackalicious' song alphabet aerobics is awesome.

heres to hope geffen get off their asses and release black thoughts old solo album that was shelved (ive been waiting so damn long for it) and i know 'game theory' wont dissapoint. Even their most mediocre album (pherenology) was great.

props to whoever mentioned O.C's 'word life' that album is dope

ok maybe not as popular, but in America J5 are defnitely as well known. My best friend, who's american, says every1 she knows knows about J5, and at first i thought she was bullshitting, but its true. im not in town to see the roots and im pissed off. But i'm visitin friends in san diego soon and they gettin heaps of acts, includin J5 actually so hopefully that will make up 4 it.

ive been to san diego its gorgeous you'll like it its fun, alot of people on the streets of that place seem to be really desperate for money so be careful lol...but be sure to visit one of their great resturants, the food there is fucking excellent.

haha yeah my best friend goes to UCSD and she's like u'll luv it. Still i always give her shit about and say it can't be better than Sydney. I can't wait to go tho. She lives in la joolla sures though so its not as deo. I'll make sure that she shouts me to a nice restaurant. i've bought her more than a fair share of meals. Also lookin forward to the cali girls, its true they do luv our accents, butcan't say the same for american chicks from the south or east though. it didnt do anything for them. Wont be 21 though, only 18, and she will be, but mexico is close

yeah i loved kellz new one its excellent, i love 'sex weed' i love all the songs on em actually, have u seen all 5 vids for trapped in the closet its cool and at the end it says we'll be getting chapters 6-10 soon probably his next album, im definently gonna buy this cd for real because it comes with that DVD with the videos.
