Definitely - like the study beforehand extension is harder to prepare etc, but with the exam you pretty much know what the questions are going to be

I go with two historians (Leopold von Ranke and Marc Bloch) and im not preparing an essay cause I am far too scared theyll do something like what they did with the technology question

went decent enough - kinda getting carried by my history project mark (90% and 76%)

For studying Q1, I made like profiles of my historian focuses - like their methodologies, philosophies, contexts, etc and also read the texts that they produced (Did Leopold von Ranke and Marc Bloch so their texts are both in the open domain)

was good! but yeah my major work was much better with 97% - i think it is way easier to do amazing in the major work cause you have time to sit with it

I got 92 on the trial but only 80 on my major work

oh my god same w the history project mark... I got 82% on my major work and awful on my trials (43% or something?? I fucked up on Q1) but still got first in course at my school . keep in mind I got a C in my final report card

So what is everyone predicting for Q1? Purpose of history? Use/Misuse? Types or Forms? - i think its going to be something like trials on purpose - if so that would be easy. Also how many specific historians and examples is everyone going in with?

Why do people feel the need to undertake this completely useless subject
You gain nothing from this or any lead for future professions

I understand people might choose this out of personal love and curiosity but still.....you will never use these information in real world context
Unless you want to become an archaeologist - An unfortunate job (When you could earn millions from doing mining instead)

the fact that you believe it's a useless subject shows that you don't understand it at all. It's about critical thinking and understanding how political motivations guide propaganda in history.

But i guess if you're an immoral bot who'd believe whatever the government tells them and prefers mining, then that's a you problem.

And by the way - I got 100% in my major work, and 48/50 in my trial.
