I was never a huge fan of Richard Branson before that book, but it's actually a really good read.

I had to read "Enders Game" in year 8. I fucking hated it, but to be completely fair I never gave it a chance because every other english class got to read "To Kill A Mockingbird" which is like a supreme classic, while we had to read this shitty sci-fi australian novel about baby geniuses. i was not very pleased with my teacher that term.

"almost famous" is made out of straight 24-carat win, I watched that the other day.

though note that my definition of 'the other day' is 'sometime in the past six or so months'

Wee finished my todo list for today. But I'm going to try at get Brave New World Notes started now so that Chrissy is less busy.

How'd the rest of you go?

(and lol at the 007ers. thanks for your advise guys. Undoutedly you recall the inital panicked stress that the thought of the hsc can induce? well we're in that phase! undoubtedly procrastination and laziness will set in soon :) )
"Inital panicked stress"? There was no state of "panicked stress" for me.

*shifty eyes* Dude, I don't think I actually picked up a pen until mid-January and went "Holy shit! There's only two weeks of holidays left!!!" And only then because I had a mountain of work to do for 4u maths and physics which I had "forgotten" about.

Don't forget to relax a little, especially at this time of year. If you're all going at the speed you're going now, you'll burn out. Seriously. Take a couple days off here and just hang with friends or watch the cricket. :D

You will not get a horrendiously low UAI just because you didn't work all throughout the holidays. Year 12 may be hard, but it is not so much so that you have to spend every waking moment poured over text books. Go out, have fun and buckle down or something after the New Year. You'll be thankful for this once the hectic-ness really starts.

These aren't things I don't want to do, I simply have to...

- Read Brave New World
- Read Antony and Cleo
- Read around 36 pages of speeches
- Find a piece of music to play
- Possibly work on some maths

Not school related:

- Make 250 CDs with photos of mine and get paid for it
- Get out of this town, going to Melbourne and other places
- Drive around even more now I have my Ps
- Try not to become bored daily
- Maybe make something for my room
- Have a good time

I think it's wonderful that 08ers are showing such initiative. Don't forget to spend some time on Christmas with those you care for most whilst considering the harsh influence of powering Christmas lights on the world's natural rhythms.

Note: those you care for most does not mean your beloved blue biro and study book. :3

Best wishes
Lol, they all seem to be working hard (even those who are watching cricket). As an 09'er I can proudly say that my goals are just sitting on my ass for a month.

No, not all day. I started at about 7am and finished before 5pm. I went to the gym for an hour and had a spin class aswell. I'm going to finish off some more things now though, before I go out tonight.

GoodLuck for your plans tomorrow!

Evanna Lynch is luna, isn't she? she's a cutie.

Does anyone here watch Skins? (top show btw, it's coming to SBS soon and I strongly recommend anyone who appreciates british teens having sex and popping pills and engaging in other hedonistic activities to watch it because it is fucking insane, watch the youtube ad and you shall see what I am on about here) and everytime the blonde ano one Cassie comes on all I can think is "holy shit she'd make a kick ass Luna" for realz y0 she's got the crazed blonde wide-eyed thing downpat.

THE INTERNET MESSES WITH YOUR MIND GUYS, IT SHOULD COME WITH A WARNING LABEL

I'm not even thinking about the bundles of work I have to do until the new year.
