Is it just me...or is there 2 conflicting stories as to the reason House lost function in his leg?

From what I can recall it was
(i) A tapeworm
(ii) Some illness in the last episode of season 1?
I thought it was because he had an infarction in his thigh muscle.

i was watching it and i understood what they were talking about! i love that show. House is just great !

edit- some of the things they did were a bit dodgy tho. they gave the hyperchondriac chick the radiation she was all shielded. When they do that in real life they are fully zapped from head to toe. and unless they are qualified radiation oncologist they probably shouldnt have been working the machine. I found a few more things troubling but thats ok half the general public wouldnt know or care about it.

they do a lot of procedures that they do, that isn't really their domain... other specialists would be involved, yet dr house and his little cronies are always the ones to do every procedure... i love it.

I guess to be as good as House, you need to be expert in all fields..including humour. hahaha

I'm dl'ing from US now.

House is a very funny and serious show ath the same time...

It's quite interesting that house has troubles of his own but will not admit to it...

has anyone ever stopped and thought about how un-realistic this show acctualy is.lol..i mean dont get me wrong i love it its hilarious..but yeh...

i love how there are no nurses EVER in any emergency situation, its just conveniently cameron, chase and foreman.....i mean there might be one for a second but they never say or play a role in anything..

I don't know. But leaving out nurses, makes it a good and focused show. after all, it's not a 'reality' show.

I just finished watching today's episode. So what's everyone's reaction to House and Stacey's kiss?? I found it hard to comprehend, especialyl the promotion for next episode....

true....

as for the kiss....
its a bit random lol....i dont know if is houses character but i cant see him in a relationship...she seems like the type of person who can have an affect on him to the extent that he'll change his life for her and i dont want him to becuase he'll change is character.....and thats the whole show!!!!or maybe im just being melodramatic....

did anyone catch the season finale from the US?

i thought it was bit graphic (well i guess viewer discretion is advised), it was interesting and all, but i sort of got the feeling of disapointment, because it was sort of, 'and then i woke up'; but it was nice seeing House being too smart for his own good

while i normally hate the 'and then i woke up' story, this was different in that it was purposely shedding light on house's character, and not just a throwaway story that meant nothing

thats what i meant when i found it enlightening that House was too smart for his own good, 'that was a hallucination, then this must be a hallucination'; the 'case' was a bit gory, esp towards the end and the eye, i had to turn away
